Again, I felt like I had to update my South Arcean weapons, because they were lacking in several areas; effort being one of them. Overall these guns took around two days to visualize and draw, and if they were real they could function. Yes I have an unhealthy love for bullpups. The weapons are as follows from top to bottom:
Scoped Beyr M1793, and Standard Issue Beyer M1793
The Beyr is one of the most reliable rifles in Unus Solum, it even saw action in the Great War. Being lightweight gives it slightly more recoil however. This rifle still sees action in the military as it makes a fairly reliable sniper rifle. The standard version of the Beyr is issued to police and citizens of South Arcea can own this rifle.
The Tactical, Semi-Automatic Shotgun is prime for close quarters combat. It is one of the few shotguns in Unus Solum that uses a magazine to feed it shells.
Anti-Armor Quad Launcher.
The main part is lightweight and easy to carry around, given that it's a bit bulky compared to its counterparts. It is re-loadable, simply remove the quad missile magazine in the back and replace it with new "clip." The quad launcher can fire several types of rounds, Armor Piercing, High Explosive, chemicall weapon agents, and Na.
Unlike other rifles, the SG-44Mk2 holds fifty rounds to the standard thirty rounds per magazine. However, what it makes up for in firepower, it lacks in range, with a two-hundred meter range. Again though, it is superior in that it can possess a secondary firing system. Currently in field testing, either an under slung grenade launcher or shotgun can be added.
The previous South Arcean LMG, the MG-13, was turned into a bullpup simply because of complaints that the gun was too long and had an uneven weight distribution. With the clip closer to the individual, it allows easier movement and keeps most of the weight near the person's center of gravity. The only problem with the bullpup design, however, practically prevent from weapon's props from being used on flat, even ground.
